Finnish sauna - health, relaxation and recovery
A Finnish sauna is not just a trendy feature of a wellness area – it is, above all, a traditional, proven method for supporting health and well-being, known and appreciated all over the world. Regular use of a dry sauna, characterized by high temperatures and low humidity, provides a number of benefits for the body. Under the influence of heat, blood vessels dilate, which improves circulation and tissue oxygenation while supporting natural detoxification processes through intense sweating. Such a purification ritual helps eliminate toxins, improves skin condition, and strengthens the immune system, which is particularly valuable during the cold and flu season.

Traditional Finnish sauna heater with volcanic stones
A Finnish heater is the heart of every authentic Finnish sauna – a source of warmth, atmosphere, and the ritual that has served to regenerate body and mind for centuries. It heats the volcanic stones and the air in the cabin, creating a distinctive environment: dry, deeply heated, and perfectly conducive to relaxation.
The JFO150 sauna is electrically heated, which guarantees precise temperature control without the need for managing a traditional firebox. You regulate the humidity level yourself – simply pour water over the hot stones. The more steam, the more intensely the heat penetrates the body, and the perceived temperature in the cabin rises. You decide whether the session is to be dry and intense or mild and steamy.
A unique feature of the heater is the Himalayan pink salt stones, which release negative ions into the air when exposed to high temperatures. Air ionization in the sauna has a cleansing effect on the respiratory tract, supports stress reduction, and improves well-being – effects confirmed both by Finnish tradition and modern research on salt therapy and halotherapy.

Chromotherapy - color therapy
RGB LED lighting is more than just a visual element. Chromotherapy is an alternative method of color therapy combined with luxurious relaxation in a sauna. It helps achieve inner balance and experience positive changes in well-being.
RED: Brings warmth, energy, and stimulation. It energizes the heart and blood vessels and stimulates the senses.
YELLOW: Increases neuromuscular tension. It purifies the blood, supports digestion, and has a cleansing effect. It strongly promotes joy, brings a sense of security, and a deep sense of well-being.
BLUE: A cool, calming color. It stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and calms breathing and heart rate. It helps in treating sleep disorders and headaches.
GREEN: A cool, soothing color that helps reduce swelling in joints and tissues; it calms the nervous system.
PURPLE: Promotes the proper functioning of the lymphatic system and is very helpful during menopause. It is a color that neutralizes emotional wounds and supports spiritual growth.
TURQUOISE: Increases intuition and sensitivity, and relaxes. It has a tonic effect and harmonizes the function of the lungs and the large intestine. It promotes spiritual development.

Highest quality materials
The JJSPA JFO150 sauna is crafted from top-quality materials that guarantee long-lasting durability and ensure the cabin maintains its aesthetic appeal over many years. The ergonomic shape of the benches and backrests ensures a comfortable body position throughout the entire session, so nothing distracts you from deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
The wood used to build the sauna is Finnish pine – one of the most highly regarded species in sauna production worldwide, and for very specific reasons. It is exceptionally hard and resistant to deformation, which translates into a stable cabin structure for decades of use. Its low thermal conductivity means that the wood does not heat up rapidly – the surface of the benches remains pleasant to the touch even at high temperatures in the cabin, without the risk of burns.
During a session, the hemlock releases a natural, delicate wood aroma, which enriches the sauna experience with an additional sensory dimension – supporting tranquility and improving well-being in a way that no synthetic material can replace. The warm, uniform color of the wood and the distinct grain structure give the cabin interior an aesthetic that combines Scandinavian simplicity with natural luxury.

FAQs
What is the difference between an infrared sauna and a Finnish sauna?
An infrared sauna uses infrared heaters that heat the body directly, rather than the air. As a result, it operates at a lower temperature (approx. 40–60°C), is gentler on the body, and allows for longer, more comfortable relaxation sessions.
A Finnish sauna, on the other hand, heats the air inside the cabin to high temperatures (approx. 80–100°C), which causes intense sweating and provides a more traditional sauna experience.
In short: an infrared sauna works more gently and deeply on the tissues, while a Finnish sauna provides an intense, high-temperature thermal experience.
How often can you use the sauna?
You can use the sauna regularly, even several times a week, and in many cases even daily — depending on your individual physical condition and how you feel. For an infrared sauna, sessions of 20–40 minutes are recommended 3–5 times a week, while in a Finnish sauna, it is usually 1–3 times a week, in shorter cycles with breaks to cool down the body.
The most important thing is to adjust the frequency to your own needs, stay properly hydrated, and not overexert your body. If in doubt, it is worth consulting a doctor.
How much electricity does a home sauna consume?
Assuming a rate of PLN 1.10/kWh as a safe average energy price:
- a 30-minute session in an infrared sauna costs approx. PLN 1.10
- a 30-minute session in a Finnish sauna costs approx. PLN 5.50
What kind of electrical installation does an IR sauna require?
An infrared sauna typically requires a standard 230 V power supply, i.e., an ordinary electrical outlet. The device's power output is usually around 1.5–3 kW, so the sauna can be connected to a standard circuit (most commonly a 16 A circuit breaker). It does not require a three-phase installation or any special electrical modifications, which makes it very easy to install.
What kind of electrical installation does a Finnish sauna require?
For a Finnish sauna with an electric heater, a 400 V (three-phase) power supply is required. The heater's power usually ranges from 3–9 kW, which is why it is necessary to use a separate circuit and appropriate protection. The sauna must be connected by a qualified electrician.
