Humanity had "everything" and telephones, but when cell phones were discovered, it turned out that this was something new. Humanity had "everything" and cell phones when the iPhone appeared... :) We could go on like this for a long time. So, we will just add that humanity already knew about massage... but as it turns out - not every kind...

Python massage

A certain Philippine zoo decided to look after tourists tired of sightseeing. As a form of relaxation, it offers them a massage performed by four Burmese pythons. The volunteer lies on a bamboo bed, and 250 kg of "masseurs" slither over them for 15 minutes. Such a massage session is said to have therapeutic and calming properties - however, we take the position that it is a highly stimulating massage...

Most importantly - the masseurs are fed before the treatment so that the patient is not mistaken for lunch...

Edgy massage

"Cleaver" massage was invented by the Chinese over 2,000 years ago. Today, you can try it in Taiwan. It is said to stimulate blood circulation, release energy, and help remove toxins. It also debunks the myth that the only professional group that only makes a mistake once is a bomb disposal expert...

Flame massage

This massage technique comes from Tibet. It is also used in Chinese hospitals. The patient's body is covered with a towel, which is then soaked in alcohol and set on fire. The procedure is completely painless. It stimulates blood circulation, protects against colds, and is said to help with weight loss. It is certainly a treatment for enthusiasts...

Elephant foot massage

It relieves back pain. With more commitment from the masseur, it could eliminate all problems altogether... Fortunately, the elephant has been specially trained to gently press its foot onto the back of the person being massaged.

Tapping massage

The name might sound gentle and promising, but the accessories used to perform this massage resemble torture tools... A hammer and a stake - these are them. For 50 minutes, the masseur "hammers" a wooden stake into the patient's back to relieve them of stress and release their dormant energy. Do not try this at home...

So, what do you think? Which of these massages should be included in our massage chairs? :P
