There is a common belief that instruction manuals are for the weak 😊 And that is a mistake, my dear friends. A cardinal mistake, because contrary to appearances, we do not write them to poison your life and take away a few or a dozen minutes of your precious time. We write them to ensure the safety and a long, shared future for you and your devices.
Today, we have decided to present the most common mistakes you make with your massagers in order to warn you against them.
Universal charger
It happens that a power adapter plug fits various devices, and those who own such a charger decide to use only it, while keeping the other one – e.g., the original charger for a massage mat – in a drawer for later.
Unfortunately, power adapters differ primarily in the power they "supply" to the device. They may supply too little power – in which case, for example, the device will not be able to work under load – or too much – in which case, for example, a massage mat will perform a massage at turbo-express speed.
At turbo-express speed, something inside it can also wear out, fray, or simply break...
And yet, you must not...
It happens that devices are used by their owners in an improper way. Of course, this does not stem from ill will, but rather from a lack of knowledge of the instruction manual.
Example: the Miniwell Twist2Go massage pillow can be used for foot massage – but you must not stand on it. A massage mat may come with a car cigarette lighter adapter, but for safety reasons, you must not sit on it or use it while driving. Imagine what could happen to your spine during a collision...
The stain wouldn't come out...
We urge you to maintain your devices regularly using a soft cloth slightly dampened with water, or possibly using mild detergents – preferably those intended for eco-leather.
If your device is marred by a greasy stain, gasoline will certainly not help, even though it worked great for removing paint stains from floor panels. If something is sticky – do not try to scrape it off with a pumice stone.
Before using more aggressive detergents, it is best to perform a test in an inconspicuous area. That way, you will see if the agent is safe for the upholstery and any potential mark will not be visible.
If dirt cannot be removed, you can always contact our service department to request a replacement of the upholstery.
Mr. Fix-It
It happens that a device breaks down. It also happens that a well-known "Mr. Fix-It" enters the scene – a neighbor, a brother-in-law, a cousin's husband, and sometimes even your own. Unfortunately, news of their successes does not reach us – but news of their failures does, along with the victims of those failures: our massagers.
It's not so bad if Mr. Fix-It gave up and only peeked inside (by the way – breaking the seals). It is worse if he attempted a DIY repair and only made the device's condition worse. Unauthorized repairs result in the loss of warranty, and sometimes expose you to additional costs associated with correcting the actions of your predecessor before our technician can help.
If anything is happening with your device, our service team is at your disposal. You can always call or write to us to ask how to use the device or how to deal with your problem. Sometimes, experiments can have disastrous consequences...
