There are various criteria for choosing a massage chair.
Sometimes the chair must be compact in size. Other times, it is essential that it performs a 3D massage. Some place the greatest importance on built-in speakers, while others are guided by the available upholstery color variants, so that it is not just a massage chair, but also a piece of furniture for the interior.

It also happens that it is primarily intended to be a TV recliner, and our chairs meet this criterion as well.

The best TV massage chair: what to look for when buying

A massage chair is not an ordinary relaxation recliner. It is quite an extraordinary chair altogether, because its interior is not filled with foam, but with a massage mechanism.

If it is to serve as a TV chair in which we will sit for a long time, we must ensure that the massage mechanism is practically imperceptible when the chair is not in operation. The massage heads must not press against us or force us into a specific position.

Another significant factor affecting sitting comfort is the shape of the seat.
Simple models work best here, where our body adopts a position just like in a regular relaxation chair.

Some massage chair models have somewhat bucket-style seats - the body sinks deep into them, and the lumbar section is pushed more strongly toward the massager. From the perspective of a massage, this shape is a huge advantage; however, if we plan to watch TV in such a chair, it may turn out that in the long run, this position will be tiring and burdensome, especially for the cervical spine.

When planning to use a massage chair as a TV chair, it is also worth paying attention to the armrests. Wide, flat armrests will allow for comfortable positioning of the forearms and hands, and will give more room for maneuver when it comes to changing positions in the chair - and we will do that more than once, especially during long screenings.

Two in one - a movie session during a massage?

Nothing is impossible. Since we have a TV massage chair, we can, of course, massage ourselves and watch TV at the same time. However... is it worth it?

While performing a massage, the chair changes the user's position. Of course, it can be corrected, for example, by folding up a reclined chair, but this change is only temporary. Moving on to the next stage of the massage program, the chair will occupy the programmed position again, and we will have to correct it again if it causes the screen to disappear from our field of vision.

Watching requires concentration, and a massage requires relaxation. Combining these two activities will mean that you will either get lost in the action of the movie or series, or you will get a massage but won't relax.
So, it is better to watch with focus, and play some background music for the massage.

Recommended models of TV relaxation massage chairs

All massage chairs in the Casada healthcare offer provide excellent massages, but we have prepared suggestions for models that will also successfully serve as a relaxing TV chair.

Aura - this massage chair is characterized by a simple shape and a fleshy, thickly padded seat. Aura has straight armrests, so we can comfortably sprawl out in this chair. Besides that, this model also offers the possibility to set the chair's position without starting the massage.

An alternative model that can function as a TV chair is the Alphasonic III. While its seat is firmer than the Aura's, its simple shape, comfortable armrests, and the ability to set the perfect position mean that we can comfortably sit in this chair for long hours.

If you are looking for a small chair that will fit into a limited space, it is worth considering the Betasonic II model. It will also ensure sitting comfort and the proper position.
