Your first massager

You finally have it - your first massager. Soon, it will become your best friend, therapist, and source of relaxation. Regardless of which model you have chosen: whether it is a foot massager, massage mat, or a massage chair, it is worth starting your adventure with the best scenario that will guarantee you the best massage results and deep relaxation.

A moment of reading to start

All Casada healthcare devices are intuitive to use, but it is worth taking a look at the manual just in case. Why? Well, if only to ensure you do not miss the security screw protecting the mechanism in massage mats (Quattromed III, Quattromed V BT, and MediMat). Running the mat with the screw still in can damage the mechanism, and then, instead of enjoying the benefits of a massage, you will be enjoying the process of working with our Service department.

There is absolutely no irony here - working with our service team is always very efficient and pleasant, but even for the nicest service technicians in the world, it is not worth damaging your massager...

Give it time

There is a saying that too much of a good thing is not healthy, and as we know, proverbs are the wisdom of the nation.
Although almost everyone's first instinct is to massage themselves for hours, we strongly advise against it.

Our body needs time. Relaxing muscles is a process. If we are very tense, have years of backlog in visits to a masseur or physiotherapist, have a stressful job, and our physical activity is reduced to the bare minimum, we are not ready for an hour-long massage session on any massage device. Also, do not expect instant, spectacular massage effects - they will come, but this will also require time.

A massager is like a friend - first, you have to get to know each other and build trust.

Start with 10 - 15 minutes of massage. See which techniques or programs suit you better. Turn on the heating to help your muscles yield more easily to the massage.

The massage time can be gradually extended - your own well-being will be the best advisor here.

Does the massage hurt?

Essentially, the answer to this question is both yes and no.

Feeling discomfort during the first few massages is natural - the muscles are tense, so any attempt to massage them will be noticeable (the same applies to a "human" massage therapist). Over time, however, the muscles will begin to loosen, and we will also begin to mentally relax - then the massage will become so pleasant that you might completely drift off or even fall asleep during it.

If, however, we have tension in a specific area and are trying to massage out a so-called trigger point, for example using the MediGunPRO vibration gun - pain is a completely normal phenomenon. The situation will be similar when massaging calves after intense physical exertion, such as running. All athletes know that nothing hurts as terribly as tight calves. It is difficult to call the massage relaxing in that case, but it is certainly effective.

Each of us is different - some will jump into a massage chair and spend half an hour in it right away, while others will need time to get used to a massage mat or a foot massager. Time plays an important role here - you should calmly get used to the device and then use it systematically to be able to enjoy the lasting effects of the massage.

Remember that only your sensations count, and your body is always the best advisor. Listen to it, and if you have any questions, contact our consultants, who will always find time to answer them.

And finally, the most important question:

Is it possible to choose the wrong massager?

Casada does not have bad massagers - physiotherapists, doctors, and professional athletes work with our devices, so you cannot choose a bad device. However, you can misalign a device with your needs, which is why at the stage of choosing a device, it is worth looking closely at its functionalities or seeking advice from our specialists.
