We have recently launched two new massage chairs: Aura and Skyliner II. Chairs of the future. The latest technologies, unconventional solutions. And it struck me just how far we have come – both we and our massage chairs.

A walk down memory lane – my first massage chair

My first experience with a Casada massage chair was stunning.
It was 2013, and after a whole day spent at the Motor Show in 12-centimeter heels, I could barely stand on my feet. And since I could barely stand, I sat down. It just so happened that I sat in a Kennedy IV massage chair. I will never forget that surprise in my life. I remember choosing the Thai massage. The chair unfolded and began massaging, stretching, and kneading me. My back, arms, calves, feet. The feeling was far better than during a classic massage. Kennedy IV was my first "chair" love.

Two second infatuations

For a long time, I thought nothing would ever beat Kennedy. Fortunately, "never" doesn't last forever either. When the Hilton II massage chair appeared in Casada's offer, I fell for it head over heels.

I like a firm massage: intense, with deep stretching. Only my feet prefer gentle treatment. Hilton II met those criteria. The intense stretching massage programs (Yoga, Stretching) kept my body in great shape, and the foot massage was pleasant and relaxing.
I loved getting massages in it, but... in the end, the Skyliner A300 captured my heart.

The Skyliner A300 is a powerful chair that performs an almost rehabilitative massage. Unique hip-swaying and waist-stretching functions provided exactly what my body needed most. And my body is a victim of office work, high heels, and motherhood (lifting + bending). The Skyliner also features an extensive airbag system, thanks to which it performs a compression massage of the entire body. Ideal for circulation, fatigue, and the blues.

My child also fell in love with this massage chair, sinking into the grey cushions and falling asleep in it. Of course, this only intensified my feelings for the Skyliner 😊

The Braintronics Revolution

Whenever it seems to a person that there's nothing left to invent, this "something" appears. Braintronics - a brainwave audio-stimulation system based on binaural beats.
An anti-stress therapy consisting of stimulating the brain to produce waves at a specific frequency – in this case, beta waves, which occur under natural conditions when the body is relaxed. Simple, right? And perfectly matched to the product's profile. After all, what could be a better complement to a massage chair than a mind-relaxation system?

The first chair with Braintronics was the Alphasonic I. The Alphasonic was groundbreaking in another respect as well – it was the first massage chair with an integrated backrest and seat cushion. This approach allowed us to achieve the highest quality massage along the entire spine – all the way down past the buttocks.

In general, the Alphasonic massaged completely differently than other chairs – as if it were embracing the back. And it had Braintronics built in – you plugged a so-called Braintronics Box, a cassette containing soundtracks, into the back of the chair. You launched the Braintronics programs from the remote control – every track had a matching massage sequence. Calm, soothing, and in sync with your breathing.

The Alphasonic immediately conquered the CEO's heart (because apparently, the CEO has a heart too :P). The CEO tested the relaxing effect of the system personally and personally witnessed how beautifully one falls asleep in the chair during a massage. Regular use of brainwave audio-stimulation improves sleep quality, makes it easier to fall asleep, but also increases concentration, creativity, and associative thinking.

To pair with the Alphasonic came the Betasonic, which performed a stretching massage. I liked the Betasonic for its integrated remote, great stretching massage, and dimensions. It is the perfect chair for tall people. Plus, it comes in an extremely interesting, golden-brown color.

Innovation – the app

The year 2018 brought the next change. Alphasonic II and Betasonic II entered the market, completely changing the perception of mechanical massage. The design and technology of these chairs were completely different from their predecessors: a capsule housing, carbon infrared heating, a special LS-track massage construction, and above all – the mechanism's motion, which mimics the work of human hands almost to perfection.

The biggest revolution, however, was the Braintronics app available for smartphones. No more Braintronics Box with pre-loaded songs, but unlimited possibilities for developing soundtracks, downloading them to your phone, and using them at any time – even independently of the chair.

The Alphasonic II is the first massage chair available in as many as 5 color versions. It is also our first chair that features a quick-access control panel built into the armrest.

The Betasonic II is a slightly more economical and compact version of the Alphasonic II. It is the gentlest massage chair in the Casada family and definitely the most "positive" in terms of color.

Soon after, the Hilton III joined this distinguished group, another yogi in the Casada family with a 3D massage function (the massage mechanism works in 3 dimensions). Perfect for those who require an intense, deep massage and stretching. Its more classic design and fabric side upholstery – especially in grey – make it an interesting piece of furniture.

In the meantime, another incarnation of the Smart appeared – the Smart V. This is a great, yet uncomplicated solution perfect, for example, for the elderly or for young people who value minimalism. The Smart V has a separate foot massage unit, which can successfully serve as a footrest or an additional seat.

Welcome to the future

When our German colleagues tipped us off that the next chair would be something unheard of, we had no idea what to expect. We thought we had seen it all.

When the first Aura arrived at our showroom, we looked at it with suspicion. The design seemed a bit too futuristic, even cosmic.
The massage turned out to be cosmic as well – Aura captured my heart the moment I sat on it. When it started massaging me – I drifted away.

The Aura massage chair is the most technologically advanced massage chair on the market. It has a 4D massage function, which allows you to control the depth of the massage. This is a true innovation, allowing you to completely personalize the massage, to "humanize" it. In addition, the Aura massages the calves not only through compression – squeezing with airbags – but also with circular motions. It has heated massage rollers (other chairs have stationary heating fields) and the Amphitheatre Bluetooth sound system.

Everything is complemented by 25 automatic massage programs, organized into 6 categories, and a touch-screen remote control. What more could you need?

The appearance of the Skyliner II right after the Aura was less of a shock. This is the second chair made with the same technology as the Aura (the Aura is more advanced). The Skyliner II has 23 automatic programs organized into 4 categories, managed by a touch-screen remote in the form of a tablet.

It is beautiful – especially in white and black. I am impatiently waiting for the moment when I can see for myself how it performs as a masseur. I have a feeling I won't be disappointed...
