Not all mats are created equal

The Casada company offer includes as many as three massage mats:

Each of them is different, each has a different purpose and slightly different functionalities.

First, therefore, we should consider:
- where we will use the mat - at home or in the car?
- what is its intended purpose? Is it more for relaxation, or should it support or replace our physiotherapist during their absence?
- which part of the spine bothers us the most, and which one would we like to focus on the most?

These questions will allow us to accurately determine what functionalities the ideal mat should have. Once we have answered them, we can proceed to selecting the device.

Basic information

Every massage mat by the Casada healthcare brand features jade massage heads. These heads are heated and emit far-infrared radiation.
The heating can be turned on or off at any time during the massage.

All mats are controlled by an integrated remote. The remotes are very simple to operate and intuitive. When you are not using the mat, the remote can be stored in a special pocket.

Differences in the mechanism design

Differences in the mechanism design are key differences that determine the functionalities of the mats.

The Quattromed III massage mat has the simplest and at the same time the lightest design, which is why it can be easily taken on trips. It can also be used in the car during breaks in travel because it also comes with a car cigarette lighter power adapter (it is the only mat with a car power adapter).

The Quattromed III mat performs shiatsu massage and vibration massage (in the seat). The Quattromed IV S-line massage mat also performs shiatsu massage and has a vibration function in the seat, but it has a completely different mechanism design. The rail along which the massage robot moves has a shape adapted to the anatomical curvature of the spine - hence the "S-line" in the mat's name. Thanks to this solution, the massage heads reach the lumbar region at all times and massage it thoroughly.

Quattromed V BT is the most technologically advanced massage mat, functionally similar to a massage chair. It performs not only shiatsu massage but also tapping massage.

Massage programs

All mats provide a full back massage, as well as a massage of a selected section: upper or lower.

In the Quattromed III and Quattromed IV mats, you can select one of the shiatsu massage techniques: rolling or kneading, and set the rotation direction of the massage heads (inward or outward).
Quattromed III allows for setting the width of the massage head spacing (3 positions: narrow - medium - wide), and Quattromed IV also offers a spot massage (for kneading only): using the up-down arrows, we select a single massage point.

Quattromed V BT allows you not only to choose shiatsu or tapping massage but also allows you to set the parameters of this massage:

• width of the massage head spacing
• massage point
• for shiatsu massage: massage intensity (three levels)
• for tapping massage: massage tempo (slow or fast), or interval
• (fast - slow or slow - fast).

In addition, Quattromed V BT has three automatic massage programs: Soothing, Stimulating, and Regenerating.

Vibration frequency

The vibration in the seat of the Quattromed III mat always works at the same frequency. In the Quattromed IV S-line and Quattromed V BT mats, we have as many as three vibration frequencies to choose from.

Massage duration

The massage provided by the Quattromed V BT massage mat lasts 15 minutes. We control the massage time using the LEDs located in the upper part of the remote (a LED goes off every 3 minutes).

Quattromed III and Quattromed IV S-line allow you to choose the massage duration: 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

Braintronics

The Quattromed V BT mat is the first massage mat on the market that works with the Braintronics application.

Braintronics is a proprietary anti-stress therapy program created by Casada. It combines specially designed soundtracks (relaxation music + binaural beats) with a gentle, soothing massage.

The massage and relaxation music help us relax on a conscious level and facilitate mental relaxation. They make the mind more susceptible to the effect of binaural beats, thanks to which the brain begins to produce "relaxed" brainwaves. Regular use of the Braintronics application helps cope with chronic stress and has a positive effect on sleep quality and well-being.
