When we launched the Power Board vibration platform, we knew it wasn't just training equipment. We knew that vibrations have a positive impact on concentration and coordination, and that they strengthen muscles, tendons, and joints…

However, it was the Reh4U Rehabilitation Center from Trzebnica that really helped us discover the full spectrum of the Power Board’s effectiveness. They were the first to look at our platform with a professional, physiotherapeutic eye and discover the rehabilitation potential hidden within it. They became the Power Board brand ambassador and integrated the platform into their daily work with patients.

If we were to describe Reh4U in a few words, we would say that it is a fresh, dynamically operating brand providing a completely new quality of rehabilitation. It is worth presenting your center in more detail, however.

The Reh4U Rehabilitation Center consists of a group of energetic and proactive people. Our mission is a conscious and professional approach to the patient. We take care of them in a comprehensive way. We prepare patients before surgeries, such as hip and knee joint endoprosthesis implantation, ligament reconstruction, etc., and we take care of them after surgeries. We improve the condition of athletes and physically active people, preparing them for intense physical exertion. We work with patients after road accidents or other mechanical injuries who want to quickly return to their former fitness. Beyond performing rehabilitation treatments, we bring together top-class specialists from various fields of medicine. Thanks to this, the patient does not waste time waiting and making appointments at different institutions, but is comprehensively cared for and guided in one place.

We cooperate with, among others, surgeon Dr. Maciej Paruzel, an orthopedist, osteopath, neonatologist, endocrinologist, pathomorphologist, as well as a dietitian. An aesthetic medicine surgeon and a cosmetologist also operate within our center. A psychiatrist and psychotherapists also play an important role for us. We also deal with improving brain performance through neurobiofeedback workshops.

I know that you are very focused on a strictly rehabilitation-based offer – so where did the vibration platform come from here, which we have so far categorized exclusively as fitness equipment?

We learned about the Power Board from one of our patients who asked if the device could be used for their ailments and conditions. We didn't know the device, so we asked to contact the equipment manufacturer, and they acted so quickly and effectively that the next day we were already conducting "experiments" on our own device.

Physiotherapists examined the possibilities offered by the Power Board with great interest and engagement. The equipment gradually became a support for the patients' individual manual therapy. Today, the device has become one of the basic elements supporting therapy.

With what patients do you work on the Power Board?

Groups of patient conditions that most often use the device with good therapeutic effect are primarily:

  • patients with muscle paresis
  • patients with multiple sclerosis
  • patients after lower limb injuries (e.g., fractures, trauma)
  • patients after road accidents - polytrauma patients
  • patients experiencing muscle spasticity
  • patients after aesthetic medicine procedures (after liposuction, laser treatments) - athletes preparing for training who want to improve the body's performance - athletes after injuries, heavy exertion, for whom the device helps eliminate muscle soreness
  • children with scoliosis.

Our center has started testing and, in fact, has already introduced aesthetic medicine treatments using the Power Board vibration platform as a permanent service element. The primary goal here is to eliminate cellulite, the so-called orange peel, skin fatty changes, and reduce the volume of adipose tissue in the abdominal and thigh areas. The services are enjoying growing popularity, because the effect is visible after the very first treatment.

We also work on the Power Board with our regular patients who struggle with chronic diseases and come to the center for treatments daily or less frequently, but regularly.

The device arouses the most interest among children; it increases their concentration while performing basic, sometimes tedious and routine exercises. The platform forces attention, increased coordination, calming down, and focus on performing exercises and the physiotherapist's instructions as accurately as possible. It is also a wonderful reward after finished therapy and properly performed exercises.

We were particularly interested in the reconstruction module, i.e., improving patients after mechanical injuries, resulting from, for example, a road accident. "Reconstruction" patients also undergo treatments using the Power Board.

The Reconstruction Project was created in response to the problem of a lack of comprehensive solutions for injured people who want to return to health quickly, and thus minimize the effects of an accident. It has been expanded with various elements that ultimately form a very comprehensive structure of coordinated care.

Thanks to the cooperation of the Health Care Institute with the Reh4U Rehabilitation Center, we provide patients with medical, rehabilitation, care, and psychological support. If the health reconstruction process requires it, the patient is provided with transport and accommodation, as well as a range of other services, such as dietitian consultations or legal support.

Patients applying to the program receive the highest quality medical and rehabilitation care, thanks to which they can focus solely on returning to health quickly.

An important element of our work is the selection of appropriate rehabilitation equipment. We are constantly looking for modern, effective solutions that will allow for a relatively fast and effective rehabilitation process. Time and the effect of therapy count - the equipment we work on must be a guarantee of this. Therefore, no equipment is accidental. We conduct rehabilitation stays using an exoskeleton, and we permanently conduct treatments in a whole-body cryochamber. The daily rehabilitation of our patients is accompanied by, among other things, a high-energy laser, Indiba therapy, and soon our offer will include treatments in a hyperbaric chamber. Adding the Power Board vibration platform to this set happened very naturally.

What does the use of our device give to patients with tetraplegia?

It has been observed that the use of a vibration platform before individual manual therapy reduces spasticity; consequently, the patient feels relaxed, which improves their attitude toward the planned classes. The device used after manual therapy makes the patient's physical condition improve; the device mobilizes for proper muscle tone.

Power Board for patients with multiple sclerosis?

Absolutely. It is used for permanent therapy: for exercises related to balance work, exercises strengthening the leg muscles, shoulder girdles, we add exercises on the Power Board device. In patients with this disease unit, we observed a significant improvement in gait and coordination in a short time. Thanks to the use of the device in every therapy, the quality of life of MS patients improves through the ability to maintain balance; patients thus begin to overcome architectural barriers and better integrate into social functions.

We can therefore consider that the Power Board vibration platform can play an important role as an element of rehabilitation treatments for various types of disease units. I think that Power Board has met your expectations?

The device meets expectations in an excellent way. It is very aesthetic; its simplicity makes it optimal to use. It enjoys great interest and success among patients, which makes the therapy run as an interesting and different procedure. A very large therapeutic effect is noticed when working with children. It is also worth appreciating the fact that the device has become a natural tool for working with patients with different disease groups, but also works well when working with athletes and patients as part of various aesthetic medicine procedures.
